The friendly neighborhood superhero has continued to share new looks in multiple movie appearances and got fans amazed with his upgraded gadgets. To prepare us for the Spidey’ return, Funko are ecstatic to introduce Spider-Man and his new Black and Gold Suit, one of the new suits that will be seen in the movie. Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film directed by Jon Watts, is the third installment of the Marvel/Sony franchise that follows the adventures of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. In this new chapter we will find out what will happen to the mythical superhero of New York after the villain Mysterio reveals to the world who is hiding under the mask of Spider-Man.

Now that the identity of Peter Parker is related to that of the neighborhood superhero, the boy can no longer separate the private life from the heroic one. This is why he decides to ask for help from a colleague, Doctor Strange, who will help him on his journey to understand what it means for him to wear the Spider-Man mask. The new Black and Gold Suit indeed featured a mystical gauntlet with “Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum” inspired design language. The suit appears to take its design cue from Miles Morales’ Black and Gold suit in the comics, it is theorized in fact that Strange could revamp Peter’s suit with some mystical abilities. The Spider-Man‘s “black and gold” suit also shows an electrical tracing embedded in it, the suit’s electrical inlays have been incorporated to deal with Electro’s abilities.
