The Transformers: The IDW Collection Phase Two, Volume 2, published by IDW Publishing in August 2015, is the tenth in a series of hardcovers aiming to reprint the IDW G1 Transformers stories in a “suggested reading order”. Its contents were originally published between early 2012 and mid 2013. New cover art (of Bumblebee) is provided by Saren Stone. 329 pages.
Content-wise, Volume 2 touches on the early days of the Great War in the Transformers: Autocracy, starts the second half of the final Spotlights, presents Robots in Disguise issues that would later be connected to Combiner Wars and introduces 2 important groups in More than Meets the Eye: the Decepticon Justice Division and the Scavengers. Before Optimus was Prime, before Megatron became a conqueror, they stood against Autocracy! Plus, Spotlights featuring Trailcutter, Hoist, and Orion Pax. And the Dinobots are back!
